Mark is Born and raised in Breda, a city in the south of the Netherlands where he started creating since he was nine years old. Because of his early passion for creation, design and drawing he started his education to become an architect. After finishing his Bachelor with an award winning graduation project he continued at the University in Delft to complete his master degree in Architecture. Besides his study Mark worked as a production manager on various projects in the Netherlands and abroad where he practiced the productional aspect of events.

His passion for dance music and traveling resulted in years of touring around the world with several DJ’s at worlds wondrous festivals as a tour manager and later as artist manager. During this period Mark was creating set designs in between shows on the airplane and hotel rooms. Because of the urge to express his creativity he exchanged his airplane seat for an office chair and started full time designing. Within Live Legends he works on various live experiences such as festivals, corporates, experiences and nightclub designs. With his skillset as an architect he masters the overall technical as well the aesthetic side of the design process therefore he can anticipate the required needs per project and adjust his role.

Mark’s interest for innovation motivates him to come up with the unexpected answers to each design question. Together with the team of design fanatics and experts at Live legends he is looking for new answers every day.
