‘I’m going to be the next Joop van den Ende’ – A quote from when I was 14 years old. A goal I manifested all these years which also led me to this new adventure at Live Legends.
As a producer, it’s my job to find a balance between giving creatives enough space for their artistic vision and staying within time and budget. Sometimes a challenging balance, however, this also keeps it fun and exciting, making each project unique. When the event has gone smoothly and I see a happy customer, I know I’ve done my job right.
Becoming the new Joop van den Ende does not mean imitating what he did. It means successfully finding and using new niches or new products for the audience to enjoy and making sure there’s a stage for them. In this world of quick technological developments and high audience expectations, I’m really curious to find out what my part in all this will be and how I will be able to help Live Legends and the sector along. An interesting future for sure!
